Job Description
- Design, build, and evolve our test automation tools and frameworks to ensure code quality and developer productivity.
- Develop new automated tests and help improve the reliability of existing tests.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans based on functional coverage.
- Convert end-to-end user scenarios into test cases.
- Ensure best practices are followed in our Automation test suites.
Must Have Attributes
- 2+ years of QA experience: Test cases automation and documentation.
- Hands on experience working with automation tools such as Protractor, Selenium, Appium and JMeter.
- Familiar with JS-based automation frameworks like webdriver.io, protractor.js or cypress.io.
- Strong in at least one programming language and comfortable understanding the code written in any unfamiliar language, whether it be JS, Java, Python.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and jobs.
- A working understanding of APIs and knowledge of API testing tools.
- Performance testing experience.
- Understanding of database concepts and queries.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Good analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Strong sense of responsibility and a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of test management software (like JIRA).
